A Planning meeting of the above
named Council, convened by the Chairman, was held in Boscastle Community Centre
on Thursday 21st September 2006. at 19 00hrs.
Present:
Chairman Clr Bannister, Clrs Hircock, Findlay, Hancock,
Smith, Venning, Brewer & Day.
Apologies:
Clrs Parsons & Arthan. Dist. Clr Comber.
Public Participation:
Neighbours comments against extensions at Penally Terrace.

Planning Applications to be considered:
2006/
01651 & 01652. Full planning & L B Consent to
re-roof with second hand rag slates & replace rafters as necessary with erection
of rear extension to form bedroom, cloaks & shower room together with internal
alterations, 4A, Penally Terrace, for Mr & Mrs G Murphy. Clr Hircock
declared a prejudicial interest and left the room, Clr Venning declared a
personal interest & took no further part. Clr Brewer proposed acceptance of
re-roofing but refusal of plans to extend, because it would result in loss of an
emergency escape.Loss of daylight & too close proximity to neighbouring
property. Seconded by Clr Day 6 votes in favour. Resolved.
2006/01694 Erection of extension to existing
dwelling, Cylena, Green Lane,
for Mr & Mrs Waddy. Clr Findlay proposed no objection,
seconded by Clr Venning, all in favour. Resolved.
2006/01749 Erection of single storey gateway
building to include public toilets, shelter & information area. Boscastle Car
Park, for N C D Council.
A petition,
against the location, was delivered to the Chairman on 21/9/06 Clerk was asked
to forward it to Planning. Clr Day proposed no objection, seconded by Clr
Hancock. 5 votes in favour with 3votes against. Resolved.
2006/01780
Erection of first floor extension to provide
additional bedroom & ensuite facilities, Venn Down Farmhouse. For Mr &
Mrs Bentall. Clr Brewer declared a personal interest & took no further part.
Clr Smith proposed no objection, seconded by Clr Hircock, all in favour .
